We are a premier cannabis producer in Oregon, dedicated to crafting high-quality, sustainable cannabis products. Our cultivation team is growing, and we’re looking for a responsible, hands-on team member to support our Veg department during weekend operations.

This role is ideal for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, basic troubleshooting, and weekend communication with leadership. You’ll support the health and organization of the veg room while helping ensure the facility runs smoothly when leadership is not always on-site.

Schedule: Thursday–Monday
Reports to: Veg Lead

About the Role

We’re hiring a Weekend Veg Technician / Facility Support team member to assist in the veg room while also helping cover key weekend facility responsibilities. This person must be reliable, calm under pressure, and capable of diagnosing issues, fixing basic problems, and escalating concerns quickly when needed.

You’ll help with plant care, clone and veg support, room cleanliness, organization, and weekend checks. You’ll also be responsible for properly locking and unlocking the facility, managing the alarm system, and communicating clearly with leadership about any urgent issues.

What You’ll Do

Weekend Facility Responsibility

• Open and/or close the facility as scheduled.
• Properly arm and disarm the alarm system.
• Ensure doors, access points, and key areas are secured.
• Perform basic weekend facility checks.
• Identify issues early and communicate them clearly to leadership.
• Troubleshoot problems as best as possible before escalating.
• Escalate urgent issues quickly and professionally.

Mechanical / Troubleshooting Support

• Help diagnose basic irrigation, environmental, equipment, or facility issues.
• Perform simple fixes when appropriate and within your ability.
• Communicate clearly when something requires leadership, maintenance, or vendor support.
• Stay calm and solution-oriented when issues come up on weekends.

Veg Room Support

• Assist with plant care in veg areas.
• Help with watering, cleaning, organizing, and general room upkeep.
• Support clone care, transplanting, potting, and plant movement as needed.
• Maintain clear labels and organized workspaces.
• Follow sanitation standards and SOPs.
• Flag plant health, irrigation, pest, environmental, or facility concerns early.

Ownership & Expectations

• Be dependable and on time, especially for weekend coverage.
• Take responsibility for opening, closing, alarm, and security procedures.
• Use good judgment when diagnosing or escalating problems.
• Communicate clearly with leadership when issues arise.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
• Support the Veg Lead and cultivation team with a positive, hands-on attitude.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through without needing constant supervision.

What You Bring

• Cannabis cultivation, nursery, greenhouse, or plant-care experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude or handyman skills strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or facility issues.
• Strong reliability and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working weekends.
• Clear communication and good judgment.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate.
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Pay

$20–$24/hour DOE
