We are a premier cannabis producer in Oregon, dedicated to crafting high-quality, sustainable cannabis products. Our cultivation team is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated Veg Assistant to support our propagation and veg operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Reports to: Veg Lead

About the Role

We’re hiring a Veg Assistant to support the daily operations of our veg room, including clone cutting, clone care, potting rooted clones, maintaining organization, and helping keep the department running on schedule.

This person should be detail-oriented, consistent, and eager to learn. The right candidate may have the opportunity to grow into a lead role as they develop stronger ownership of the process, crew support, and department standards.

What You’ll Do

Clone Cutting & Propagation Support

• Assist with cutting clones according to established specs.
• Follow sanitation procedures for tools, trays, domes, workspaces, and equipment.
• Help maintain accurate clone labels and tracking.
• Support tray setup, organization, and post-cut care.
• Maintain consistency in clone size, quality, and handling.

Clone Care & Potting

• Help monitor clone health through the rooting cycle.
• Assist with hardening off clones on schedule.
• Pot rooted clones into pots according to SOPs.
• Help organize batches by strain, timing, and production needs.
• Flag rooting, labeling, watering, or health issues early.

Veg Room Support

• Assist with watering, cleaning, plant movement, and general veg tasks.
• Help maintain mother plants and veg plants as directed by the Veg Lead.
• Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Support room resets, sanitation, and daily task completion.
• Help maintain a smooth workflow between clone production, potting, and veg care.

Ownership & Expectations

• Show up consistently and ready to work.
• Follow SOPs carefully and ask questions when needed.
• Keep labels, trays, plants, and work areas organized.
• Communicate plant health or process issues early.
• Work well with the Veg Lead and the rest of the cultivation team.
• Take pride in clean, consistent, high-quality plant work.
• Demonstrate the potential to take on more responsibility over time.

What You Bring

• Hands-on plant, nursery, greenhouse, or cannabis experience preferred.
• Clone cutting or propagation experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organization and follow-through.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency.
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on plant work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Interest in growing into a lead or higher-responsibility role preferred.

Pay

$18–$22/hour DOE
Higher pay may be considered for candidates with strong clone, propagation, or leadership experience.
